More to know: I take the time to partner with my patients to find the cause of their complaints. Using an FDA registered device to screen non-invasively for allergies, infections, toxicities, and deficiencies, I recommend diet, homeopathics, nutrients, and herbs. My patients highly value their work with me.

The motto "you are what you eat" has served me well over the past several decades and I am interested in sharing my knowledge of nutrition to help people lead healthier/happier lives.
I have lived all over the world; junior high school in Switzerland, high school in Mexico and my first 2 years of college in Quebec, Canada. I am a summa cum laude grad from UCLA in sociology/anthropology. My masters degree from UCLA is in Maternal Child Health. I attended Duke University for medical school and UCSF/Santa Rosa Community Hospital for my residency in family medicine.
My interest in medicine began while practicing as a lay midwife in Los Angeles and Oregon in the 70's. These were truly trying times for women who wanted to control their birthing experience and deliver at home. Prior to returning to Los Angeles in 1999, I lived on the Island of Guam for 2 1/2 years and worked as the medical director of an OBGYN clinic. I delivered hundreds of babies and bonded with the Chamoro people.
